Edible Garden Show

I'm hoping to get to the Edible Garden Show at Stoneleigh in March-having just looked at the floor plan of the exhibitors it is looking a bit sparse-Paul are you in a position to give us the lowdown on who's going to be there please?

I'm sorry, I don't actually know, except The WI will be there, The Good Life Press, The association of allotment gardeners, and little me.

I don't exactly know all that's happening as yet there are meetings coming up. I do know I'll be doing a sausage seminar - no heckling now, or I'll pull you up and make you stuff the sausages.

What larks!

Have just read on the web pages of the show that it has been deferred until March next year-how disappointing-still with the current economic climate it isnt surprising-I wonder how many others will go ahead.

It is a real shame the edible garden show has been postponed till next year,i was really looking forward to it.The way to look at it is if it went ahead and didn't have many exhibitors and features then people would be very disappointed and wouldn't go again deeming it a waste of money.Hopefully with lots more time to attract exhibitors it will be a cracking show next year.

I have to say I was rather surprised at the lack of and I know we're still in financial straits but given there is a huge push and take up of home growing I would have thought that would have been the impetus to exhibit. Still fingers crossed next year will be better-it cant get worse :!:

There were plenty of potential exhibitors , but they didn't want to pay for space i think.
