NEW FRIENDS

Postby veglady on Mon Feb 22, 2010 2:32 pm

This kind of leads on from the friendship topic. I love reading the mag and buy it religiously every month and like to look on the forum to see what everyone is up to and have occasionaly asked for advice. Ilive in wiltshire with my family and home farmer mag is for sale in quite a few places so i am presuming that there are like minded people locally. Could the magazine please help us to get in touch with each other as i would love to meet some of these people as my regular friends although good friends are not realy on the same wavelength! I think it would be great to be able to meet to exchange ideas and encourage each other especially when things don,t go so well. I know theres a privacy issue but there must be a way to get round it.

Hi
The only way i know we can communicate in privacy is through the PM option at least this allows us to swap email addresses and then contact numbers via our own email addresses? at least I think thats possible and not visible to any other people? Paul may need to clarify that one.

Hi

Yes - anything in a pm is not visible to anyone - anyone at all - except the writer and recipient.

No swearing now... :P

Sounds a great idea to me but someone is going to have to explain what i have to do as my computer skills are very limited! I,m only on this forum because my 12 year old son set it up for me and typing this message is a painstaking one fingered effort.

Well done and keep up the good work, there is so much to learn from this forum so it is worth the effort. :D
